Helen Scott (on Old Maud) with Winfield Scott, the founders of Scottsdale memorialize in statue in front of the Old School Museum on the pedistrian mall not far from the Sagauro Hotel. We went inside as recommended by the reception staff, and then met the head of the parking staff, and found a place to park for the event with a dash board slip for parking. Found a great Coffee and Bike Coffee place under his direction called REGROUP. we did regroup, with the help of a man from Wisconsin and South Africa!
Scott display in the School House Museum -----nearby met folks around a video presentation on the water and power, that the white settlers envisioned, and Teddy Roosevelt, helped to politically carry out. Check out the Wiki entry https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theodore_Roosevelt_Dam
