World Launch Discipline of Peace - Global Dreaming

Here is part of the circle of world peace dreamers that joined in the launch at the Village of the Shining Stones near Abiquiu for 5 days of ceremony in the high desert. On the back wall are 8 images created through Rainbow Hawk of the Eight Universal Principles of Peace. This work builds on the understanding, of Black Elk, 18th Century spiritual leader of the Oglala Lakota Nation. "The First Peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of people when they realize their relationship, their oneness, with the Universe and all its powers, and when they realize that at the center of the Universe dwells, Wakan Tanka, the Great Spirit, and that this center is everywhere, and it is within each of us. This is the real peace and others are but reflections of this. The second peace is that which is made by two individuals, and the third is that which is made between two nations.
