Spring Landscaping and Discoveries Camden North Minneapolis

We have had a nice prolonged spring in the Cities this year.  Here are daffodils and red bud at the Peace Garden near the lakes in South Minneapolis taken on April 8th as I rode my bike to take in the progress of the flowering plants.   Here, the last frost often happens as late is mid May and planting tomatoes and all best happens after mothers day!
Last week I visited the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden with friends for a morning and here is the prairie area looking west.   Nice calm morning with birds singing.
Another bike jaunt to the Peace Garden where my bike is resting on the Japanese Style bridge.
 OUTDOORS GARDENING BEGUN April 30th.

Began my roto-tilling landscaping business yesterday, and my friend Sylvan supported me in getting out my trailer to a job in North Minneapolis Success! Started right up with good tiller karma!
Able to do weeding of the invasive blue bells and mulch for the day and we discovered a fun cafe'

Emily's F& M Cafe' on 44th.

For a late lunch we just made it to Emily's F&M Cafe on 44th in the Camden Neighborhood for
amazing home made chili! Emily is from Italy and it is a real family neighborhood cafe'.
Not to be confused with Emily's Lebanese Deli, I hope to return for a breakfast there soon.  Emily herself who said she is from near Rome and has lived her for 38 years, greeted us!  I real find in
Camden!

Check it out - Open for Breakfast and Lunch only, closes at 2 PM.
